Is your business ready to hire offshore?

Offshore hiring works when there is real work waiting and someone to direct it. It struggles when a business hires hoping the structure will sort itself out afterwards. This is the readiness check we run with clients before we start sourcing.

01There's enough defined work

You can name at least 25–30 hours a week of concrete tasks. Not 'help around the business' — actual outputs someone could be measured on.

02Someone owns the relationship

One person in your business is accountable for briefing, answering questions and reviewing output in the first month. Without that, even a strong hire stalls.

03Your processes can be explained

They don't need to be documented beautifully — but if nobody can explain how an order moves through your business, that's the first thing to fix. We can help shape it during onboarding.

04Systems access is possible

Your team member will need logins to the tools the role touches, with appropriate permissions. If access is locked to one person's machine, plan that in early.

05You're set up for remote communication

A daily check-in habit and a shared channel for questions matter more than any tool. Teams that treat their offshore member as part of the team get dramatically better results.

06If you're not ready yet

That's fine, and worth knowing before you hire. We'd rather spend a session helping you get the work and structure defined than place someone into a gap that isn't shaped yet.

Ready when you are.
