What if I want to bring my team leader out to Australia?
Bringing your team leader to Australia can be a great investment. Meeting the wider team in person, seeing how your warehouse and showroom actually run, and sitting in on your sales meetings will teach them more in a week than months of video calls.
It does need planning, which is why we ask you to book a session with us and your team leader before anything gets promised. In that session we cover the points below.
01Purpose
What the trip is for and what you want them to walk away with. That shapes everything else.
02Timing
Visitor visa processing, passport validity and peak travel periods all take time. Three to four months' lead time is comfortable, less than that gets tight.
03Budget
Flights, visa application, travel insurance, accommodation, local transport, meals and any allowance while they're here.
04Who pays for what
Most of our clients cover the full cost of the trip since it's a business visit, but this needs to be agreed and documented up front rather than assumed.
05Employment and visa conditions
Your team leader stays employed through our EOR arrangement while they're here. A visitor visa allows business activities like training and meetings, not paid work for an Australian employer, so we make sure the trip is structured correctly. We'll point you to a registered migration agent for the visa itself.
06Precedent
If you have a team of five, bringing one person out sets an expectation for the others. Worth thinking through before you offer it.
Ready when you are.
